These are some good points. Although I have also came across another bad thing:
To think that disagreeing is wrong or that everybody should ahve his opinion – no quarells – no talking – everybody does his thing. The thing is that this just does not work. Because we want to work with people who have similar opinions – and also we must find compromises – and you indeed will never find a compromis if you do not take a position that you defend. This includes giving up a position, taking a new one or let a majority do their thing while you think differently.
If you ahve some people with whom you have fought your fights and in the end have found a strong compromise this is much better than not talking about points where you differ.
